Badminton

Badminton is a sport for all ages. Throughout the year every participant is assessed against specific skills to enable them to progress and develop.

We are delighted to welcome you back through our doors and to get back to helping Edinburgh keep active and well - always. We're very grateful for all the support we have received throughout lockdown and can’t wait to see you again soon in our venues.

As with all our other activities in our venues, we've introduced a number of measures to ensure everyone's safety.  We'll continue to review these measures over the coming months as the environment and guidelines from the Scottish Government and national sports governing bodies change.

It is very important that you read our safety guidelines below before attending any class. These include where to drop off and pick up children at each of our venues and much more essential information to help everyone have an enjoyable and safe Edinburgh Leisure experience.

On our class timetable you can check spaces, request to book a space, here's how:

  1. Check where and when your class will be on when we reopen and whether it has spaces using the 'Class timetable and availability' button below.

  2. If there are spaces, you can complete a 'Booking Request Form'. Your space is not guaranteed at his stage. We will check and get back to you to confirm we have held a space and what the next steps are.  Your space is guaranteed once we have your Direct Debit instruction and we have emailed confirmation to you. We will not collect any Direct Debits until we can run our classes. Normally we collect Direct Debits on or around the 1st of each month. The monthly amount is calculated over 11 months with no Direct Debit being collected in July of each year.

PLEASE NOTE that booking forms are NOT currently available on the timetable for certain classes. We are carrying out our annual 'summer movers' task to transfer customers leaving the pre-school programme into the next Entry Level class for their sport. During this time we are unable to process any new booking requests for any Entry Level class, any Gymnastics class (please note gym Nippers and Jump Nippers are still bookable) or any class at the Royal Commonwealth Pool. Therefore booking forms will NOT be available on the timetable below for these classes. We aim to have these booking forms back on the timetable by 21st June so please keep checking.
