Meadowbank Sports Centre is the home venue for SPFL League Two football club Edinburgh City, the SWPL women’s team Hibernian and East of Scotland league side Leith Athletic – with matches taking place on the Stadium Pitch, typically on Saturdays and Sundays.

All Pools: all our pools will be closed throughout Saturday and Sunday.
Coaching/Lessons: all Swimming and Diving lessons will be cancelled. A limited dive squad programme (dry land) will operate – the dive team will advise customers directly.

Thursday 27 March 2025
Main Pool: will be closed 08:00 – 09:00 and 12:30 – 13:30 to allow set up and recovery time before and after the event. No 50m lane or casual swimming will be available between these times. However, the pool will be open for 25m casual swimming (2m deep) from 09:00 – 12:30.
Dive Pool: will be closed until 12:30.
Classes: 09:50 Aquafit and 10:45 Hydrospin will be cancelled.
SASA Levels Diving
Saturday 29 March 2025
Dive Pool: will be closed to the public. Dive lessons will run as normal.
Main and Teaching Pools: will be open as normal
GBDF Spring Masters Diving
Friday 11 – Sunday 13 April
Friday 11 April (17:00 – 19:00 only)
Dive Pool: will be closed. Pool-based lessons that normally start at16:50 and onwards will be cancelled. The dive pool will be open for normal timetabled activities and lessons throughout the rest of the day.
Saturday 12 – Sunday 13 April
Dive Pool: will be closed. All diving lessons and public dive sessions are cancelled. A limited dive squad programme (dry land) will operate – the dive team will advise customers directly regarding this.
Main and Teaching Pools: will be open as normal throughout the event.
East District Summer Sizzler Swim Meet
Saturday 21 June
All Pools: will be closed throughout. All Swimming and Diving lessons are cancelled. A limited dive squad programme (dry land) will operate – the dive team will advise customers directly.

Main Pool: will close at 12:30. No casual or lane swim will be available from that time.
Teaching and Diving Pools: will remain open, and all coaching will run as normal.

All Pools and Studio 3: will be closed throughout the event.
Coaching/Lessons: Friday’s Pre-school Dry Dive Gym class will take place as normal. All other Swimming, Diving and Gymnastics/Gymnippers lessons will be cancelled. A limited dive squad programme (dry land) will operate – the dive team will advise customers directly.
Fitness Classes: there will be some minor changes to our Fitness Class programme in Studio 3. Please see online timetable and app nearer the time for details.
