Tumbles at Portobello – Indoor Soft Play
Tumbles at Portobello is one of our three Soft Play venues at Edinburgh Leisure.
Tumbles has distinct zones for babies, toddlers and juniors, providing children with an exciting range of features that will help develop their sense of balance, stimulate their minds and promote activity. And of course it’s a whole lot of fun!
You can simply drop in for your soft play sessions at Scrambles – no bookings. We have 60 and 90 minute sessions available.

Upcoming Closure: Tumbles is Transforming!
We have some big news! Tumbles Soft Play & Cafe is getting a fantastic upgrade to make your play experience better than ever. To bring these exciting changes to life, the Soft Play & Cafe area will be temporarily closing from Monday 7th April for approximately two months.
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:
- An upgraded play frame with fresh challenges and new games
- An expanded café seating area for extra comfort
- A fresh new look to complete the Adventure Island experience
- A revamped birthday party room, with our popular Soft Play Birthday Party offering making a comeback!
In the meantime, the fun continues at Clambers and Scrambles. And remember, your Soft Play membership gives you unlimited access to both. See you very soon!
Gymnastics Lessons: If your child is enrolled in gymnastics coaching at Tumbles, please be aware there will be some schedule impacts between 7th and 13th April. Check your emails or speak with your coach for more details.
