Heriots Senior Swimming GalaThursday 10th October
  • Main Pool will be closed between 0800-0900 and 1330-1430 to allow set up and recovery time before and after the event
  • No 50m casual swimming will be available between these times; the pool will however be open for 25m casual swimming (2m deep) from 0900 – 1330.
  • The teaching and dive pools are open as normal, as are our other facilities.
Heriots Junior Swimming GalaWednesday 20th November
  • Main Pool will be closed between 0800-0900 and 1400-1500 to allow set up and recovery time before and after the event
  • No 50m casual swimming will be available between these times; the pool will however be open for 25m casual swimming (2m deep) from 0900 - 1400
  • Aquafit 0810 will take place in the teaching pool.
  • Family Fun Swimming and Clambers Soft Play will start from the earlier time of 0900; all our other pool activities and facilities are operating as normal
Scottish National Open Diving ChampionshipsThursday 28th November - Sunday 1st December
  • Dive Pool and Dry Land facility will be closed throughout and all public dive sessions are cancelled.
  • All diving lessons and dive squad sessions will be cancelled.
  • Thursday’s Aquafit and Hydrospin classes are also cancelled
  • The main and teaching pools are open as normal  throughout, as are all our other facilities.
Scottish National Short Course Swimming ChampionshipsThursday 5th December - Sunday 8th December

Thursday 5th December

  • Main Pool (only) closes at 1400 and no casual or lane swim will be available from that time. The Teaching and Diving Pools remain open, and all coaching runs as normal.

Friday 6th  – Sunday 8th December

  • All Pools & Studio 3 closed throughout
  • Friday’s Pre-school Dry Dive Gym class takes place as normal; all other Swimming, Diving and Gymnastics/Gymnippers lessons are cancelled
  • A limited dive squad programme (dry land) will operate - the dive team will advise customers directly regarding this
  • Some minor changes to our Fitness class programme in Studio 3 – see app for details nearer the time.


Please note that the venue and car park can be extremely busy while events are running. We apologise for any inconvenience.
