Edinburgh International

Swim Meet

Thursday 13th - Sunday 16th March



 Thursday 13th March

  • Main Pool (only) closes at 12:30 and no casual or lane swim will be available from that time. The Teaching and Diving Pools remain open, and all coaching runs as normal.

 Friday 14th  – Sunday 16th March

  • All Pools & Studio 3 closed throughout.
  • Friday’s Pre-school Dry Dive Gym class takes place as normal; all other Swimming, Diving and Gymnastics/Gymnippers lessons are cancelled.
  • A limited dive squad programme (dry land) will operate - the dive team will advise customers directly regarding this.
  • Some minor changes to our Fitness class programme in Studio 3 – see online timetable and app nearer the time for details.

East District Age Groups Swim Meet

Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd March



  • All Pools closed throughout Saturday and Sunday
  • All Swimming and Diving lessons are cancelled
  • A limited dive squad programme (dry land) will operate - the dive team will advise customers directly regarding this.

Edinburgh Primary Schools Swim & Dive Gala

Thursday 27th March



 Main Pool 

  • Closed from 08:00 – 09:00 and 12:30-13:30 to allow set up and recovery time before and after the event.
  • No 50m lane or casual swimming will be available between these times; the pool will however be open for 25m casual swimming (2m deep) from 09:00 – 12:30.

 Dive Pool 

  • Closed until 12:30. The 0950 Aquafit and 10:45 Hydrospin classes are therefore cancelled.


SASA Levels Diving


Saturday 29th March

  • No public access to dive pool, dive lessons running as normal.
  • The Main and Teaching Pools are open as normal
GBDF Spring Masters Diving
Friday 11th  –  Sunday 13th April


  Friday 11th April (17:00 – 19:00 only)

  • The dive pool is closed.
  • Pool-based lessons with a start time of 16:50 onwards are cancelled.
  • Dive pool open for normal timetabled activities and lessons throughout the rest of the day.

Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April 

  • The dive pool is closed.
  • All diving lessons and public dive sessions are cancelled. 
  • A limited dive squad programme (dry land) will operate - the dive team will advise customers directly regarding this.
  • The Main and Teaching Pools are open as normal throughout the event.

East District Summer Sizzler Swim Meet
Saturday 21st June


  • All pools closed throughout.
  • All Swimming and Diving lessons are cancelled
  • A limited dive squad programme (dry land) will operate - the dive team will advise customers directly regarding this.

Scottish Swimming Long Course Open Championship 
Thursday 26th – Sunday 29th June
