Balerno High School is situated in the southwest of Edinburgh. Having served the local community for almost 40 years, it is now part of Edinburgh Leisure’s venues as we manage public access to the facility outside of school hours.
Unlike our other pools, we are unable to remove booking for lane and casual swimming at Balerno High School at this time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Swimming Lessons at Balerno
Balerno High School offers Swimming lessons for ages 2+ on Saturdays and Sundays.
Scheduled classes include the Swim Nippers, Pre-School and Swim Skills 1, 2, 3 and 4 courses.

The facility is home to a 25 metre Swimming Pool, offering lane swimming, family fun sessions and various swimming lessons. Booking is required for Swim sessions at Balerno. Book here
The on-site Sports Hall is also available for Badminton and fitness classes.
