The Edinburgh International Climbing Arena offers world-class facilities for our climbing instructor training courses and the major industry Rope Access Training Quailification courses.
For those taking their first steps in the world of work, Student Placement and Volunteering opportunities are available with many of our Active Communities programmes so you can gain valuable work experience.

Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) courses available to book now including NPLQ and the NRAST for Swim Teaching or Trainer Assessor courses.
Swim and Dive Teacher Qualifications
SSTQ, SVQ and UKCC qualifications courses available to book now for Swim and Dive Teaching.
Teaching Development Courses are also available to further develop your skills and knowledge.
First Aid
All of our First Aid courses are accredited by Ofqual and presented in association with the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK), which ensures your qualification is recognised nationwide.
Rock Climbing Instructor Courses
We run a range of nationally recognised qualification courses for aspiring Climbing Instructors.
These NGB courses are administered by Mountain Training, and each award involves a training course, a consolidation period and an assessment course.
