Quick Exercises

Jump into these easy-to-follow circuits with Edinburgh Leisure's very own Jakub. Clear some space and let Jakub walk you through a series of exercises designed for building strength and, above all, having fun!

If you've got either an exercise ball or dumbbells at home, why not give either of these workouts a shot? If you don't have weights, get inventive and use tins of soup or beans!

Started running over lockdown? Lacing up your trainers and hitting the roads is a great way to stay on top of your physical and mental health, but it's important to make sure your body is strong enough to handle the miles. 

Clear a space and get started with these exercises from our gym team at Portobello. All exercises can be done without using any equipment. 

Looking after your flexibility is key, especially if you're working from home and spending a lot of time at a desk. Aptly named 'The World's Greatest Stretch', this movement is great for mobility around the hips and spine and can help to combat 'working from home fatigue'! 

Set aside five minutes each day to do this simple stretch, all with a little help from the Craiglockhart gym team.
