Under 5s Activities & Classes

Help your little one to get active, learn new skills and more importantly have fun! With coached activities including swimming, dancing, football, diving, trampolining and gymnastics there's something for every little one to get involved and get moving with us. 

We are really looking forward to bringing the summer fun to our centres across the city this year. We have clubs, sports coaching, swimming, tennis, climbing, gymnastics, Clip n Climb and so much more over the holidays.


Whether you are looking for week long 9am - 5pm holiday clubs, with early drop off from 8am and late pick up until 6pm, or just to keep the kids active and learn a new skill for a few hours each day, we have you covered. Take a look here to find out more or book now!

There's lots on across the city to keep Under 5s active. Our Adult and Baby/Child classes mean you can join in the fun when they are really little.   • Multisport:  
  • Active Starts  (18 months to 5 years old)                                                                                                      The Active Start program is a multi-sport class and develops physical literacy and spatial awareness and delivers multi-activity sport sessions specifically designed for children from 18 months to 5 years old.  Each session is 45 minutes and allows children the opportunity to try of a wide range of sports including; athletics, tennis, gymnastics, football and lots more! These early years activities help children to develop, balance, coordination, agility and speed, increase self-confidence, enjoy exercise from an early age, develop social skills and meet other children.

  • Swimming
    Swim Baby (3 months to 11 months) and Swim Toddler (1 -  2 years)
    A safe and fun introduction to the water with your little one. Be there when they start their swimming journey and as they continue to become more confident and independent in the water.
  • Gymnastics
  • Baby Nippers (walking -18 months)-  Help with the development of your toddler’s fundamental gross motor skills such as balance, rolling, sitting, crawling and walking using using a variety of music, songs and rhyme in a safe and fun environment.  
  • Gym Nippers  (18 months to 3 Years) - Get moving together with safe and interactive adult & child gymnastics sessions
    Gym & Jump (18 months to 3 years) - Little ones can reach for the stars with our  mixed gymnastics & trampoline skills classes

YWe have three incredible soft plays around the city, Scrambles at EICA RathoTumbles at Portobello and Clambers at the Royal Commonwealth Pool

You can just drop in and enjoy soft play, there's no need to book. 

Our sessions are 60 minutes but you can book for 90 minutes outside peak times.
