We are carrying out essential work on our systems from 3pm Wednesday 27th January – 6am Thursday 28th January. During this time you will not be able to book any activity on the app or website and there will be no online fitness classes running or floodlit tennis available. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Tennis
We are delighted to be able to keep our outdoor courts open at Craiglockhart and The Meadows during current restrictions. Scottish Tennis guidance released on 06/01/21 states that adults and children aged 12 and above can only take part in outdoor singles tennis, unless all participants are members of the same household or extended household. This is in line with the requirement that only up to 2 people from 2 different households may participate in outdoor sport and exercise. How to book and pay for your visit online
You have to have an account with us to be able to book and pay for your booking. If you have an Edinburgh Leisure card/are a member, an online account will already have been automatically set up for you. Simply go to our booking portal and click 'forgotten password' if you do not know your password or haven't set one up yet. From there, follow the on-page instructions and you will be able to finish setting up your account with us.
If you don't have an Edinburgh Leisure card or are not a member, you can easily set up a Pay-as-You-Go account with us.
What would you like to do?
If you are a discount card holder, then you can still use this card when booking tennis online. Unfortunately we are unable to sell these at the moment.

Our Tennis Courts

Whatever the weather there's always time for outdoor tennis with the all weather courts at Craiglockhart.
Court bookings, cancellations and no-shows
Courts Bookings
The cardholder must be present at the booking and present their membership card.
Court Bookings can be made up to 8 days in advance. Bookings must be paid for at the time of booking.
Edinburgh Leisure Discount Card holders and members can book online and via the app, 8 days in advance. Online and App bookings open at 1 second after midnight, so you can book just after midnight on a Monday morning for a Tuesday booking.
Customers who do not have an Edinburgh Leisure card and customers who have a 10 for 8 card can book 7 days in advance online and via the App. You can only book online or via the App if you have a member record on our system.
No one can be in two places at once, so customers can't book two courts that run at the same time.
You can check your bookings by clicking ‘My bookings’ on the app and by checking ‘upcoming bookings’ in the online booking page. Click here to access your online bookings. If you make a booking on the app you can add it to your calendar and set up a calendar reminder.
Arriving in time for your booking
When you arrive, please swipe your attendance 5 minutes prior to the time for your booking.
Changing or cancelling your bookings and no shows
Isn’t it frustrating when you can’t get a court? Even more so when you find out that a time was available because someone booked and didn’t turn up.
You can move your booking online (but not on our app) up to 24 hours prior to your booking time if you are unable to make it. You can't cancel your booking over the phone or in person in the venue. If you are unable to make your booking or change your mind, there are no refunds. Bookings cannot be moved online with less than 24 hrs notice.
What happens if Edinburgh Leisure cancels your booking?
If we cancel your booking, we will contact you by text or by phone. We will credit your account with the relevant number of Loyalty Points.
