Clambers Soft Play at the Royal Commonwealth Pool
Clambers at the Royal Commonwealth Pool is one of our three Soft Play venues at Edinburgh Leisure.
Open 7 days a week, it offers wonderful adventures for kids aged 0-10 with designated Baby, Toddler and Junior play areas.
Enjoy a coffee and a cake in our Cafe Refresh while your child plays freely in our securely gated area.
Clambers Soft Play offers customers free wi-fi, free onsite parking (tickets must be validated before leaving the venue) and are registered as breastfeeding friendly.
ASN Soft Play at Clambers
Join our new Additional Support Needs (ASN) Soft Play Session for children every Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:00 PM at Clambers at the Royal Commonwealth Pool!
These sessions are only open to ASN children to enable a comfortable, relaxed, and safe environment so that children who need additional support can learn and grow their confidence.
- Staff on site to help you check in
- Enjoy healthy cafe drinks and snacks while your child plays
- Venue is fully accessible with ramp access, an internal lift and disabled toilets, changing and showers
- Sessions are free for soft play members; non-members can buy a pass at reception
- Ages 0-10 are welcome

Christmas is coming to Edinburgh Leisure Soft Play! - Parties Now Available
Edinburgh Leisure’s soft play parties are back this festive season at Clambers, Scrambles, and Tumbles soft-play centres!
Your wee dancers, prancers and dashers are all invited to rock around our jolly Christmas discos, unleash their creativity with festive crafts and even be in the chance of meeting our Auld Saint Nick! If that wasn't enough, there'll be plenty of soft play fun to help burn off the energy and excitement.
Parties take place at Edinburgh Leisure soft play venues between the 12th and 20th December. Tickets are cheerily cheap at only £1 for babies under 12 months, £9 for Edinburgh Leisure members and £15 for non-members.*

About Clambers Frame
Clambers had a new frame installed in 2022 - designed so parents can supervise easily and children can play freely all within a securely gated area. There are slides, an upper story football pitch and many more exciting features to explore!
Important Information
- Parents/guardians should monitor children in their care to ensure they do not exceed their capabilities whilst using our equipment.
- Children and adults are required to always wear socks in the soft play frame - socks can be purchased at soft play.
- No shoes are to be worn in the play frame.
- No climbing up the slides.
- Food and drink should be consumed at the tables and should not be taken into the play frame. We kindly ask you to clear your tables using the recycling bins provided.
- Only food and drink purchased from Café Refresh can be consumed in the venue.
- All personal items such as money should be left with parents or guardians. Keys and sharp objects should also be left to avoid injury or damage to equipment. Edinburgh Leisure does not accept responsibility for any loss of belongings at any time.
- All age restrictions for areas of the frame must be followed.
- If the soft play is full, customers will be added to a waiting list and called forward once space is available.
- Any behaviour deemed to be unsuitable towards Edinburgh Leisure staff or other customers will not be tolerated from adults or children. Customers should advise a member of staff if they witness any unsuitable behaviour who will endeavour to resolve the situation.
